Welcome Bloggers of 2007

To set up your new blog, I suggest you look at some of my earlier posts. Click here for an introduction to blogging; this link will take you to a blog I created with teachers around the world--you will find links on the right sidebar to the blogs that different teachers created. For a tutorial to help you set up your blog, click here.

Since your first written assignment was based on the cover article about Stéphane Dion in the January 22, 2007 issue of Maclean's, I have asked you to post your analysis (but not your summary) on your blog. When everyone has posted an analysis, I would like you to read what your classmates have written by clicking on the links to their blogs in the right sidebar. Be sure to leave comments!
Some students have asked about the location to the Centaur Theatre. For the moment, you can refer to this post which includes the address and directions.

Hello! We're Yulian, Juan Carlos and Angel. We are students from the English teaching program at UIS in Colombia. We read your blog about this, and we clicked the link "The Heavy Metal Umlaut", and we tried to answer your question: "Are wikis as reliable as a traditional encyclopaedia?" we think that they aren't! The video showed how irresponsibly people can write in a massive means of information like Wikipedia without any filter and according to that, they can provide us false things.
Unfortunately, many people publish trash on the Internet and they don't take in to account that there are too many people who take it as true information.

Blogs are important tools to learn they are well used. We thank you for providing us the steps to create a blog; in that way we can show the world all we have to show.

Actually, we have a little blog. It's link is: http://malokakechua.iespana.es

Good bye.
